Trusting Thursday-Building Trust!

Good afternoon! I thought today we would go into a different direction with this post on trusting Thursday. Normally we dive into trusting God which is absolutely important!

There is another important concept with trusting though. That would be building trust with our families, friends and acquaintances. Especially when we are talking about learning of Jesus with someone who does not know Him or our children who growing up learning from us as parents.

When we are trying to witness for God sometimes we begin to look at people as a number. We want to feel good about ourselves about bringing people to God and it becomes about ourselves rather than about those we are witnessing to.

We need to make sure we are building relationships and trust with those we are bringing to Jesus. Take time to spend to get to know them. Help them out and once they start coming to church, it isn't over. It should be growing stronger because now you should have more in common with them.

We are to be like Jesus, He goes to search for His lost sheep but remains the protector of that sheep. He continues to watch and care for the sheep. We should be doing the same thing.

People need to see the love Jesus has for us through our example. He never leaves us, therefore let us never leave eachother. Always be caring for one another and helping eachother in the time of need. Always encourage eachother as well!! Build trust with eachother as well as with God!
