Sunlight Sunday- Got vitamin D?

Do you get outside enough? Most people today are working indoors eight hours a day. Then they are rushing around after work to make dinner, clean the house and get the kids off to bed early or simply watching television to "relax". There can be serious symptoms and complications from not getting enough vitamin D3!
These symptoms can include fatigue, back/bone pain, muscle pain, obesity, increased infections, cognitive disorders, depression, slow to heal, hair loss, increased insulin resistance, bone loss, and poor cardiovascular health. Wow 😳, vitamin D is important!
We need to know our bodies. Of course is vitamin D is important for our muscles, then our heart which is a muscle needs vitamin D. It helps with calcium and phosphorus absorption, which are needed for bone health and a strong immune response. Phosphorus is important for our bones but especially for the filteration of our kidneys.
There are so many people walking around weak, tired, in pain that need the knowledge to understand why they are facing these issues. A pill is not the answer! Pills can help with symptoms but they do not cure the problem. When we take steps like getting outside more and absorb vitamin D, we are making life altering health changes!
In Proverbs 3:5-8, the Bible says, "5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. 8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones." God made the sun for our benefit. So that we could absorb vitamin D. Sunshine brings happiness to the soul. That's why so many have seasonal depression. If we let God direct our path by following the eight laws of health, we will be in good health!
