Sanctified Saturday - The Flood

Have you ever truly thought about the flood? There is so much happening in the flood. What an amazing story. All animals came to the park on their own and fit into this ark made by Noah through the direction of God.

A boat that fit not only every animals by two but there were seven of every clean animal. Wow! And to tell me so many did not get on the ark and doubted the rain?

It is so easy for us to say, how can that be? But it is happening today. We have been told the end is coming soon for so long that we are desensitized to the message.

Noah preached for 120 years while building the ark. We have been preaching longer that the end is coming but we know with what we are seeing that the end must come.

How can things continue to go on. What we see as evil sometimes I believe are evil but not the only evil. God's definition of evil I believe is more detailed than what we see as evil. We have become desensitized to evil as well.

Evil to God can be lack of self-control, lying, and just thinking of ourselves before others. The work atmosphere is suffering right now because so many do not want to work honestly to obtain money. We are pleasing ourselves instead of God.

Let us take time to evaluate ourselves, are we focused on pleasing God in all we do? Feeding the poor with what is left over from our check after paying the bills? Are we seeking to show love to one another? Let us not be blind to heavenly things and remember this world is temporary.
