Seventh-Day: Sabbath Day to REMEMBER our Creator
Have you ever thought about yourself? And wonder why am I here in this earth? Who made me? You might be thinking you came from your mother and your mother came from your grandmother and your grandmother came from your great-grandfather. You can go on and on about this, but let's think about the beginning of our creation. What are the materials that were used to create human beings? In Genesis 2:7 "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathes into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being." The material that you and I were made are dust of the ground and the breath of life from God. Stop and think about what you just read.
God didn't speak to any other created life the way He spoke to human kind. He made US to be able to communicate with Him. You are very special to God.
In Acts 17:28 "For in Him we live and move and have our being...". Isn't OUR God amazing? Also, in Genesis 1:27 "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God, He created him; male and female He created them." What do you think this means? Is this talking about our physical body that looks like God? Maybe not. This is talking about His character. There is no other who is like our creator and that is God.
God is our creator and everything you see around you and even your mother, grandmother and great grandmother, you name it, He created it. God even knew you before He even created you. He knows you and who your mother on earth is going to be. He knows even before you see yourself in the mirror. OUR God is amazing!
In Psalm 138:13 "For you formed my inward parts; you covered me in my mother's womb." You were perfect and wonderfully made."
God also had a plan for you when He made you, the plan was already laid before you even knew it. Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope " In Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; Before you were born, I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations " God always has good thoughts towards you an not even a tiny evil thought enters His mind. that's why God is so good all the time.
For we He has commanded us in Exodus 20:8 "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy." We are to praise His Holy name for He knitted us together in our mother's womb and everything that was created in this earth, was created for our enjoyment. We are to always REMEMBER God in all the days of our lives. Praise be to our God Almighty!!
