Madness Monday - Pray without ceasing!

What are you struggling with in your everyday life? I know I am struggling right now with the concept of absolute surrender.
Dying to self? How do you completely separate from yourself? I am afraid to even bring this topic up. I hate to admit, what does absolute surrender look like? We talk about surrendering and we sing "I surrender all....all to Jesus my blessed Saviour, I surrender ALL."
I want to surrender all to Jesus. I know we all do. But I know as I look around at my own life and have conversations with my friends and family, this concept is wanted but not completed. I am not saying this because I am observing what others are doing but just listening to what they are stating their struggles are.
We get bogged down with everyday life and we don't take the time to rest in Jesus or even in sleep. Most of us are staying up too late and waking up too early. We cannot function at 💯 percent when we are lacking a full night's sleep. We need to get our rest in order for our bodies and brains to be rejuvenated.
Rejuvenation - the action or process of giving new energy or vigor to something.
Vigor - physical strength and good health. Effort, energy, enthusiasm.
Interesting 🤔 rejuvenation gives good health and enthusiasm. I believe this can give us enthusiasm to want to be more faithful.
If we are more faithful to God then we are surrendering to Him. We will put the effort needed to stay connected to Him throughout the day. Prayer is so important and we often neglect prayer. Prayer is a rest from the world and coming into the presence of our heavenly Father.

We should be in constant prayer with God. He is the only way to be in absolute surrender. We come humbly to Him throughout the day. Not just in the morning and in the evening which is very important as well but anytime we start to feel self bulk up. Whether that be in our relationships with others, during choices on diet, or during choices in entertainment. We should stop and think 🤔 would God want me to say, eat, do this? Then if it is something he doesn't want us to do then we should go to Him in prayer and ask for Him to help us overcome.
Do not allow our daily madness rush us into bad decisions......let us take rest in prayer to do God's will.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-28
King James Version
16 Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 19 Quench not the Spirit. 20 Despise not prophesyings. 21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. 25 Brethren, pray for us. 26 Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss. 27 I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren. 28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Amen 🙏
