Clouded mind creates disorganization and the inability to comprehend completely. Changing our eating habits will clear the mind and give us a fresh start.

Good food, good mood. What an interesting saying because it is true. The food we eat totally affects our thought process which tends to control our mood. I know when I eat sugar in excess and have a lazy day where I am not even lifting myself out of the bed, it truly sets my day. The whole day is surrounded by moping around as if I am not a mother of four and an adult who has an example to set. What we do as mothers shapes our children. Our children actually look up to everything we do, whether what we do is filled with good choices or bad choices. Life is all about choices to make, What to eat, what to wear, what to pay when on a tight budget, when to eat, how often to eat, what to drink, what to do with our time, how to raise our kids, what time to go to bed, what to watch, what to listen to and the list goes on. Sometimes we all feel a sudden overwhelming sense that we have it all wrong and are creating the wrong environment for anyone within our homes. Just know that feeling we get does not come from the correct source. Satan is always telling us that we are not good enough and never will be. Jesus always speaks rebuke from love and would never make us feel like we are not able to succeed. That is why before we make choices we should question what choice will be to the glory of God? If when we are in the grocery store we decide to put more fruits, veggies, nuts and legumes into the cart it is a win-win for us as mothers. Not only will we feel joyful with the decision we made but it will lead to several good days after eating a well-balanced healthy diet. It will also give our children a clear mind to be able to be obedient and think before they act. If we make the right choices it will be easier for our children to make the right choices and in turn make our life easier. I have heard the saying happy wife-happy life but I believe the same is true with obedient children-happy mother-happy life.
