Foodie Friday- what kind of bread are you eating?

Are we letting our mind decide what we eat and how much? Americans on average eat 290 or more pounds of food a year. That's a lot! A lady named Rose Knight was telling me we should be only taking in about 1 and a 1/2 cups per meal. I know you guys might be thinking that's not that much but we were not meant to live to eat . We're meant to eat to live. "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." Matthew 4:4

Know that the verse above doesn't mean we should never eat but it really means we should also be reading the bible and understanding it. Just as we need food to survive physically, we need the Word of God to grow spiritually.
We should eat but not overstuff ourselves with food. We should be eating fruit, vegetables, nuts, beans/legumes and grains. We can over eat on foods that are good for us as well. There needs to be a balanced diet and eating enough to sustain us but we should never feel overstuffed. Please remember throughout this day that we need daily bread......the kind you eat and the kind you read! Enjoy the flavor of both!
