Foodie Friday - Mind overload

What did you eat today? I woke up this morning and decided today I would eat less because I felt as if I had ate enough the rest of the week for today!
I began with a smoothie! Avocado, pineapple, kale and apples! So delicious 😋 and makes you feel good that you ate something that benefits your body! Then I had for dinner a burrito with tofu, black beans, rice, lettuce, tomato and gaucamole. Burritos are a good to in my family! After eating the burrito, I felt beyond stuffed.
I cannot handle that stuffed feeling anymore as I grow closer to God. I would rather feel hungry. Studies have shown that eating less will give you a clear mind. I can actually tell nowadays that when I eat less I am more alert and can pay better attention to whatever I am doing. Whether that is reading, driving or doing daily tasks!

Take the time to study how you feel. Are you feeling confused alot? Having a hard time making decisions? Maybe it's because you are overloading your brain by eating too much or too often. Let us be mindful of what conditions we are giving our brain to function!!
Romans 12:2 - And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.



Wow! I love that two different food person. I noticed myself I get less anger as I grow closer to the Lord and ask him to come into my heart to control me as I make the right choice to eat healthy. I believe our mind will grow clearer as we eat the right food and not overstuff with our fleshly desires food choices.
