Foodie Friday - Get togethers!

I am actually thinking about how food draws us together. It seems every event has food related to it. Whether it be a meal or snack items.


There is nothing wrong with eating a well balanced diet and enjoying food together. Healthy food and talking about healthy new recipes to try is a fun and interesting topic.


But when the food is unhealthy it is an issue. It can lead to addiction to sugar, caffeine and other bad habits in eating such as overeating.


We need to be a support for one another on keeping the appetite under control. I truly believe that it is easier to stay on track if you are not alone. So let us keep in mind during get together a to have healthy enjoyable food to enjoy. Even if that is not the case be prepared to be a Daniel and to stand alone!
